unapologetic fangirl

movies, books, music, asian entertainment, and everything in between

Philippine TV pisses me off.

So.. ABS-CBN AND GMA are airing Hana Kimi-Taiwan and Hana Kimi-Japan this coming March 24 in the Philippines.

I’m pissed.

Look, I LOVE both versions and I don’t want to compare the actors and the story because it’s unfair. They are both good in different aspects. So PLEASE STOP comparing the two dramas alright??? What is wrong with you fangirls (and boys)? >_<

I am amazed by the great voice actors in ABS-CBN. In fact, I want to be a dubber myself. But GMA doesn’t give justice to the Japanese dramas they air because of the horrendous dubbing. It’s awful! Can you imagine Shun’s voice dubbed? *facepalms* Ayokong mabangketa lang yung mga idols which I support and love. Stop this already. And those fangirls don’t even know the meaning of the word respect.

I can’t explain what I feel exactly >____< I AM SO FREAKIN’ ANNOYED.

Just watch the subbed version people. AND please stop comparing already. Aren’t you tired and sick of this?

  • girl, don’t be mean. hope you’re not generalizing. and miss, i hope you’re not pertaining to all filipinos. let me tell you that not all of us are jologs.

  • Mai kun, this entry was made when I found out about the dubbed version of Hana Kimi XD Sorry if you thought this post was ‘mean’. But this is my blog and this is what I think. I’m not generalizing. There are still many good and mature Filipino fangirls out there ๐Ÿ˜€ If you’re one of them, then there’s no reason for you to be mad at this post alright? ๐Ÿ™‚

  • waa.. i agree po xenyo…
we should not compare both versions.
and gma dubbers are not that good…
ang panget ng pagkakadub.. and ung pagkakaedit nila argg..
how i wish na di nlng nila pinalabas kung ganun din lng.

  • Hi Quira, ganun talaga. Mukhang hindi na maiiwasan T___T Pero as long as may mga natitira pang mature fans, okay lang siguro ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Hi Mary Grace.

  • hey! i agree to your blog! and i feel the same thing! the story of hana kimi japan was superb yet the dubbed voices weren’t justified at all!

  • @ Marian Rivera / Angel Locsin : hmmm..

I clearly stated that we need not compare the two versions because both were very good. And if you haven’t watched it? How can you tell if it’s good or not? T_T

  • Hey Jhom ๐Ÿ˜€ Ah yes of course. Dubbed dramas = NO NO O_____O
Subbed dramas are waaaaay better ๐Ÿ˜€ I like hearing the real voices of the actors ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Hi Nelgie! ๐Ÿ˜€ True, true. Immature fans lang ang nag-aaway over such a thing XD Oguri Shun is just LOVE.

  • hi poh,.. i think ur right,.. subbed dramas are the best,.. kase maririning ko ung mga totoong boses nila at minsan nga sa mga dubbed dramas ay hindi tama ung sinasabi nila,.. at nakakainis sa tenga ko! minsa nga eh,.. pagnanonood ako sa dubbed version,.. i cover my ears,.. hehe,.. dubbed version destroys the beauty of the movie or series!,.. and the characters.. i love toma ikuta , maki horikita and shun oguri!,.. =p

  • Hello lovelove. Subbed dramas are better ๐Ÿ˜€ Diba mas maganda naman talaga marinig yung real voices of the actors? LOL XD Sorry, biased ako eh XD Hahaha.

  • Hekhek, i’m really amused. As much as possible, I never watch
anything “dubbed” off Philippine TV… I mean, the internet is
a much bigger place to get to know a lot of asian series’, and
fansubs are far more better than “dubs”… Japanese sounds cooler

it’s each to their own so there… I personally love the Japanese
version because the Taiwanese version just re-runs through
almost everything I’ve read in the manga, which is definitely
boring… I’d rather watch the Japanese one and read the

  • Konnichiwa, Tumblewush.

I admit I watched some dubbed dramas, but most of them are Korean. I think Korean dramas are better when dubbed. But Taiwanese and Japanese are of course, a hundred times better if subbed. The only Taiwanese drama I’ve seen dubbed is Meteor Garden and that’s only because it is my very first drama ๐Ÿ˜› I agree that the Japanese language sounds cooler ๐Ÿ˜› I love hearing the voices of the actors XD

I know what you mean. I’ve read the first few chapters of the manga so I understand what you feel. I respect your opinion. We all have different tastes, ne? ๐Ÿ˜€

  • am i the only one that likes leaving the original voices in dramas and just reading the subtitles?? i think dubbing just ruins the whole character and what-not…

  • yea, your right. And the dubbings are not the excact meanings.
Like, devil beside me, I sometimes watch it sa 7 pero napanuod ko sa dvd and it’s so not magkaparehas.
